Technical Framework

IST, with modularization design, build the framework by P2P communications protocol, sub-network trust, network cooperation, file-sharding encryption, multiple replicas, dynamic memory and other core technology.

Distributed storage nodes: provide storage, bandwidth and computing resources for IST; Distributed network nodes: provide P2P penetration and inter-domain routing for IST; Distributed file system: ISFS - IST distributed file system; Blockchain consensus layer: based on ChainSQL, IST consensus is RPCA; Application layer: IST Wallet App (Ios, Android, Windows…)

IST & IPFS

The distributed storage network of IST has built-in file sharding encryption, multiple replicas, dynamic storage and other relevant underlying design. IST aims to be world’s largest distributed cloud drive and the infrastructure of cloud storage, providing distributed and permanent basic storage service to the era of IoT and 5G in the future. Instead, IPFS (FileCoin) aims to replace HTTP to become the new basic internet protocol, therefore their distributed storage network provide service to public, but not provide dynamic file storage, multiple replicas, file encryption and other basic functions. IPFS is not suitable for persistent storage. IST and IPFS are correlative and complementary.

Smart Contracts & Automatic Compensation

Adopting modularization design, IST encapsulates consensus algorithm, P2P protocol, block writing and other functions, seamlessly integrating each module. The backtracked and not-tampered mechanism of blockchain ensure the openness, transparency and fairness IST data. If data get lost within IST, the system will compensate automatically.

Global Nodes & Immortal Data

The storage resource pool comes from all users who voluntarily share their spare storage space. Users can become a node of IST by signing the IST Agreement, who can participate in the construction of IST through sharing and get corresponding digital asset - IST as return. Each node not only can provide the storage service, but also verify the storage service and transfer information of the storage chain. Global nodes synchronize ledger, backup world-widely and keep data lasting forever.

Cooperating with another famous mining machine manufacturer, the third supported hardwire mining machine joined. IST eco-chain ushered in its first explosive growth, with more than 50,000 nodes.
